WHACKING MY FAVORITE BALL GAME

Volleyball, like any other ball games, is a sport whose origin is known almost to the day. Volleyball quickly spread around the world and became more popular in other countries. It was invented in 1895 by William G. Morgan, a student at Springfield College.

. This sort of sport is such a good exertion to an individual’s body for it helps in the functioning of some vital organs which would cooperate in activating our energy level while playing.

Ever since I was a child, I find pleasure in playing volleyball though I thought it was difficult at first which is mostly the first reaction. Practice for me, is an avenue to sharpen my ability in this nature sort of sport. As a volleyball enthusiast, I totally enjoyed engaging myself to it. From the very beginning of the session, I fully had confidence playing volleyball and expanded my knowledge not just in world of volleyball but also in dealing with other people such as my classmates or teammates. Throughout the days and meetings we had, a pleasant and memorable bonding was formulated which I’m going to cherish ‘till the end of my life because it was not just the confidence that was boosted in our bondings but the wisdom and friendship that I got from them as well was totally a huge blast.

Every game we had, there was one person who helped us strengthen our level of energy; whom, from the very end did not leaved us and guided us from any dangerous accidents and that’s our almighty GOD. Despite from the sufferings/ pain we acquired from the volleyball session, we still did our best in all our games. I realized more that in a group, teamwork was really the best avenue to succeed. Teamwork enlightened me to focus more on every spike or touch of the ball throughout the sport. As what our teacher said, “You’re not playing as an individual here but as a group,” was just the thing that I would never forget in my entire life especially in times of groupings.

Being chosen as a leader of my team, was not an easy position to handle but because of the cooperation we had showed, we ended happily (laughed) and fully settled. I appreciated volleyball sports much more than before because of all the positive things I obtained from it. It was truly a great experienced to enhance our skills and everything related to it. In addition, I’m very confident to say that no cheating happened in our group because we believed that cheating in a game has no place for us. I could say that from the very start up to the last; my group played vibrantly and truthfully.
